This morning me and dad went up to Peterborough to have a look at the new VFR. It's nice in the flesh, looks pretty buch and mean. Dad had the v-tech 800 before his current bike, and he could only get tip-toes down on that, but on the new model he can get the whole of both feet down.

Speedplay, you've been thinking of an RC8 haven't you? Marshall Honda have one in for 7.5k if you're interested enough to go looking.
Also went to Taz so I could have a sit on a Shiver.. Nice bike.. The riding position is perfect for me- pegs are low enough and well placed that my long legs are comfortable, the bars make you lean forward ever so slightly... And there are a few around for under 4 grand. Time to start saving!

Also went to BMW dealer. They wheeled out a brand new K1300S for a chap to test ride, started it up and both of them ****ed off inside for a chat. Brand new bike sitting running on the pathway of a very busy road, oceans of people passing by, I couldn't believe it!
