The board-game-mad boyfriend of our daughter is with us for a few days and we dug out a Dr Who interactive game we've not played for years. The Tardis didn't work so we opened up the back and.... oh my, I've never seen batteries so badly corroded! Chris is also an electrical engineer and tried very hard with my soldering iron and a reel of cable we found in the garage but to no avail.
