After the failure of the flash bar for the Polaroid I managed to get a Polatronic flash for a few pounds. Sold as not working due to corrosion in the battery compartment. Cleaned it up but no joy. Left it on over night and found it had charged. Wrapped some foil on the non corroded part of the terminal and onto the battery. Now works perfectly.
