Default Re: Vintage film cameras

No film plans as such but I want to use a couple up and try out a couple of as yet untested cameras.
I think the OM2 deserves a run out. Was looking at the Pentax K1000 today but the mirror seems to be sticking up. Will have to have a look at that but I put it on a radiator to loosen up in the meantime.
Actually, when I was on my China hols, I visited a place called Yu Hu village, just outside Lijiang and came across the old residence of a guy called Joseph Rock. I'd never heard of him so had a look around. He was more a botanist than a photographer but he took loads of pictures of Yunnan/Sichuan in the 20s/30s, some for National Geographic, and they had a small display in his old house.
Really interesting stuff - a few examples here. Strange to see it from 90 years ago in black and white
