Bye Bye Zafi, bought in 2004, final mileage 96k. Apart from consumables, it only required a radiator after getting a stone through it, a bypass kit for the EGR valve, which isn't bad in 14 years of motoring. Never stranded me on the side of the road, although it did try to kill me once.

Tail gated by a tired German delivery driver, so a new tailgate, then. Lots of adventures, holidays, trips and general workhorse duties. Bit sad to see it go, but I could see some big-ish bills turning up at the MOT or in the near future. Got £146 scrap for it, which went toward the cost of its replacement, which cost £700 with 36k on the clocks. I now have 2 silver machines
