My parents were out with their friend some years ago and he was pulled by plod and given advice about the use of high intensity rears, despite his protests that he puts them on to be seen, he was told to turn them off and only use them in fog.
Daft sod never realised plod was still behind him when he put them back on 1/2 a mile down the road...Not a happy plod that day!
