Default Re: Vintage film cameras

Were you shooting the flowers wide open? I must get in Flickr sometime, I took a load of pics when I dismantled the lenses on a couple of cameras and should post them for other people.

I'm naturally a bit of an equipment geek, but I'm more enjoying the challenge of fixing old stuff than just poring over numbers or summat. That said I've not done a lot of photography in years until again in the last 12 months, and it is nice to be back into it. I've seen a lot of arty shots on forums, Flickr etc. but it's not my style, but I have found myself spotting things that would make good pictures, even if I haven't taken one, if that doesn't sound daft.

I might even feel like I can estimate a good exposure one day! I'm messing about with fill-in flash just now, still finishing the roll of film in the Vitomatic, which has a leaf shutter so can sync at any speed.
