That's not quite right.
Compared with say a Fazer 8, the Yamaha has a service interval of 10,000km and the SV 6,000km. (6,000 miles and about 3,750)
But don't get me started. Why do NGK spark plugs last longer in a Honda or Yamaha block than they do in a Suzuki? Why do nuts and bolts need more checking on some makes than others? Why would an air filter block more readily?
