Plugs dont last any different between models. TBH the simple process of removing and inspecting the plug is just as important as changing it. Ive seen bikes come in for servicing that have never had the plug removed to be inspected and its rusted heavily making removal more difficult.
Air filters will get dirty quicker if your riding alot in town where the air is much more dirty and when riding in poor weather.
