They sent me a Ni-MH.
I did check on the difference, a NiCd charger will generally undercharge a Ni-MH battery. IF it does charge it properly it will take a lot longer (according to http://www.greenbatteries.com/nimh-battery-charger-faq/).
So now I'm waiting to see if the ebay vendor just made a mistake or tried to slip one by me. Ultimately, it looks like I need a new charger and it will be one of those decisions I hate - a £10 Chinese charger or a £45 bought-in-UK-but-made-in-China-charger. |
You're probably better opening the batteries and replacing the individual cells. Plenty of guides on youtube
