I had similar issues with the bt21. Felt like riding on ice when the road was a little damp, put Avon storms on and problem solved. Mind you this was a few years ago so there may be better tyres than the storm now.

I went the MT route after 10 years of SV. If you want to limit front tyre wear get one of those [emoji23]
