First the bad news, was rung on my mobile today (Saturday, been on a works course in Lincs since Wednesday) to tell me my SV has been written off by insurance co as the cost of repairs is to much. f**cked up front end,new fairing required, chassis twisted, other damage which is "uneconimcable to repair) . the good news is Tomorrow, Sunday i put down a deposit on an 05 unregistered R6.(EBIKE'S offered me £3,500 for my SV).Hopefully will be picking up the new bike on Thursday/Friday. subject to confirmation of the SV being totalled by then. The R6 is in The black Gauloises scheme and is a beast of a bike (test ridden already) . Hope I'm still allowed on the Welsh run on the new ride.
