If the exhaust isnt leaking, then dont worry about it too much. Part of the casting has cracked and broken off, maybe someone lumped it with a hammer at some point?

If at some point you remove the exhaust or it gets worse, then get it fixed, it'll need someone with specialist welding kit.

Those ehaust header nuts look like they are going to be a ******* to get off without breaking the studs off, a common problem. If it aint broke leave alone, but you could get both done at the same time in the future.
