No not right at the back in case they slip off. It's a little tricky but maneouvre the cup on the righthand side so that it's forward of the axle bolt and above the brakeline. Similarly on the lefthand side, forward of the axle and wiggle it in above the bottom length of chain.
Once you've done it a couple of times you'll get the idea. Without a doubt, bobbins have to be easier.
