For me location and distance to that location isn't a factor. I've really enjoyed the last 2 being 'darn sarf' as the distance away from home has made it feel like a real break. Attending the last 2 years I've been able to enjoy some roads I've not ridden before just getting to the campsites, excellent roads on the rideout routes I probably wouldn't go and do myself outside of an AR weekend and met wonderful orgers
