It purely depends on declared value and if it's marked a s a gift or not.
Up to £18 or up to £36 for gifts which is about $35 or $70 so ask if they will mark it as a gift and ask if thy can keep the declared value below $70 (Don't tell Lyn I said so )
And remember Parcelforce add almost £15 if there is a customs charge to pay
