I am selling my partner’s SV650S. As you can see from the service work done and new parts fitted recently we have been getting it ready for the riding season as she did not intend to sell it. She has recently developed medical conditions that are forcing the sale.
It has had a new DID 525VX chain and high quality JT sprockets at 16301 (346 miles ago) and new tyres.
200 miles ago I put this bike through a full service covering the following items:
Oil changed – Motul 5100 10w40
All 4 Spark plugs replaced with iridium items (NGK CR8EIX)
Coolant changed
Cables oiled
Fork oil replaced
Rear suspension stripped and re-greased
Brake callipers cleaned and greased
Brake disc bobbins cleaned
Valve clearances checked and adjusted – front cylinder exhaust valve shims reduced from 1.7mm to 1.65mm. All others within specification.
The bike has done 16647 miles. This is the perfect mileage for any new owner as there is no major work scheduled for almost another 15000 miles!
As you can see the bike is in excellent condition and a great buy.
