My ex bought himself a 1967 Mustang Fastback. He also qualified as a pilot. When he came down from Sheffield to visit petrol prices were at their peak so he rented a little Piper plane as he reckoned that worked out cheaper than driving the beast down the M1. He sold the Mustang soon after to a guy who lived in the South of France. We reckoned the fuel costs to drive it there would be almost as much as he paid for the car! [emoji3]
