I replaced the diaphram myself and no further problems after that.
However, something you might want to consider doing as petrol will thin the oil and depending how much leaked out your oil now might also have been contaminated by the leaked fuel.

I agree.I've had a fuel leak into engine before.As soon as it did I deemed the engine oil to be contaminated and dangerous to the engine and replaced it.
For the cost of some fresh oil and a filter it's not worth risking an engine IMHO.
