More a case that you got unlucky from my position, but atleast there was after sales and it's not like you wont find an alternative dealership for a triumph if you have real issues with your local one.

If one bike has made you reluctant to get another of the same brand that's your call, I would probably be the same if I wasn't so fortunate....but I wouldn't hesitate in buying another and probably will in due course

I had a KTM too which apparently are even worse for reliability but would love another one of those...seriously contemplating a 790 adventure to replace my tiger in a couple of years, just want to get to year 2 of production first.

As for a Norton or Jawa I would definitely be more concerned...they are a complete unknown entity and have limited after sales support services...better to stick with the bigger names if you ask me so if there are issues they'll be addressable easily...sounds like you ought to stay with Suzuki (I have one )
