Hi mate, I did the same a few years ago. Left dover at 2am and was in Paris by 10am. Continued on a round trip of France over a few days. I was riding for about 10 - 12 hours per day stopping for gas and the occasional nicotine fix.
I'm unsure about the dates at the moment but definately interested. Might even be able to get my missus into the idea too. I'm local to you in Warrington nr Manchester. Whereabouts are you?
