I cleaned it 9 days ago and it's covered in crap all over again. Seems like a never ending cycle. I'm starting to wonder if I can be bothered with biking at all. I only do 15 minute journeys to work and back. Takes me 10 mins to get my kit on and off at either end.

Got to agree here. Either go hooning around like a lunatic at the weekend in order to enjoy you bike
, or put it away to keep it clean. It's no fun if it's all work
. Like the idea of getting a puddle jumper - that's another option.
