Which, TBH can be a good thing. I dont advocate chewing everything up and like a quiet hike myself. Just a shame when there's nowhere. Best avoid the monuments, tho don't want a small scale version of the ****ing on the alamo incident
A guy on advrider contacted Scotways who do something or other with rights of way and he posted this:
'They posted me a printed sheet detailing 148 (not 142) rights of way with start and end grid references. I scanned this into an excel spreadsheet and calculated the length of them (direct route from start to finish, not the actual length on the ground):
80 are less than half a mile.
38 are between .5 mile and 1.0 miles.
The longest is 4.9 miles but before you get excited, this is now a 'C' class road!'
