Shropshire and into mid-Wales.
Start at Shrewsbury, then to Kiddeminster through Much Wenlock (could divert via Ironbridge & Buildwas, great road, & the noise through the Severn gorge & through the town would be awesome) and Bridgnorth on the A458, stopping at the cafe at Quatt on the way, then on to Leominster (good caff there too) via Tenbury Wells, then A44 to Crossgates (good caff there also) (Crossgates is near Llandrindod Wells) then the A483 to Newtown, then back to Shrewsbury along the western part of the A458 via Welshpool.
