Default Any opinions on Firefox Racing? (formerly DPS racing) Keighley

Morning, the suspension on my gsxr srad 600 track day bike is knackered to put it bluntly. I have spoken to a couple of firms to see what the bare minimum is I need to spend to make it "rideable". It's not a full on race bike and I am skint so cost is main priority. They are all saying I need front end serviced with good oil and new linear (not progressive) springs at about £180inc vat which I can live with. However they all want to sell me a new race/sport shock and spring starting at about £600 bearing in mind the bikes only worth a grand on a good day. Firefox say they can servive old shock for £85 or service, revalve internals and set to my weight and style of riding for fraction of cost of new unit. Being a yorkshire man this appeals! but if so simple why doesn't everyone do it? Has anyone used this firm? any good? do they have race bike prep history? I am always a bit concerned by companies that change their names.thanks for any feedback guys and gals.
