As the question was about how to use a front paddock stand, I didn't respond but if we are going to start recommending other stands, then I am very happy with my Abba stand. Wifey bought me the add-on for the front and although a little bit of a faff to raise the front (I don't weigh enough), it gives completely open access to the front of the machine. I am currently overhauling front calipers and changing the fork oil. Brilliant.
