A lot of birds will follow grazing animals around and wait for them to disturb insects, which the birds then gobble up - Robins have learnt that humans are good for a feed and also disturb insects and grubs in the garden - I used to be flattered by attention from Robins until I realised they thought I was related to a cow LOL
