Thanks! I had already read that and admittedly I got excited at first, and then reading later into the thread it seems that in reality, they are too low and rather uncomfortable (lower than a supersport) without modifications.
I think we're just going to have to go with a bar replacement.
We both really like the look of clip ons, but there doesn't appear to be an easy way of adding them without a lot of effort. Hence I'd hope the Gilles 2016 conversion bars might work. They almost look like clip-ons. But alas it sounds like there's no chance they'll fit.
