yeah when i was looking on auto trader for an Sv650 it seemed to be a pretty popular colour there was loads of the silver/blue ones for sale.
It could be a long shot but why dont you try to get in touch with people selling their bike with the cowl and offer to buy the cowl separately?
Its probably pretty unlikely but you could get lucky?
