After faffing about with phones, car sat navs and everything in between I decided to bend over and get taken for the £400 for a TomTom Rider 400
Yes it is way overpriced for what it is but it is so much less of a faff than using any other system.
You can plan routes in it with Tyre or on Motogoloco, it's easy enough to see in bright sunshine. It has a mount which charges it off the bike and is easy to fit and wire up.
Had it 2 years now and it still looks brand new, comes with lifetime map upgrades too so should last a long time.
