Sorry didn't see this to now. Yep the TZ100 has 1 inch sensor but it doesn't use it all hence you get a 10x zoom! Whereas the Sony RX100 also has a 1 inch sensor but you only get a 3x zoom(except the mk6 which has a 10x I think)
