you should have investigated years ago. intermittent faults like this can leave you stranded when they do decide to fail completely.

fuel cleaner wont do shizz in this instance as its heat dependant so either breather, fuel vapour lock or electrical contact breaking down (the hotter the wire the more resistance).

i would start with taking each connector apart and lightly spraying acf-50 in them.

next up would be the charging system when its hot.

after that is anyone's guess.
