I feel the cold. I have spent a small fortune on leather jackets/trousers, tights, thermals and textile suits.
My latest attempt to keep the economy afloat and me warm is the Spada Chill Factor 2 trousers.
I had bought the shirt a few months ago and was surprised by how much difference it made. It is a wind blocker and it does work, the wind block material is only at the front of the garment, the back is a soft polyester material.
Anyway, on a quick ride this afternoon the trousers also proved to be good at keeping me warm. I suppose the temp was about 12°C, which admittedly is not the greatest of tests, but I did notice a definite benefit to them, worn underneath leather trousers.
Most reviews I'd read indicated they were sized "big" and I would agree with that, I normally take a 32in waist but I bought the "S" which was supposed to be a 30in. If I'd bought the 32in I'd have had room for a friend.
Not the most stylish, I suppose, but I don't envisage showing them off to anybody.
