Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house,
not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The gifts all laid out, the curtains were drawn,
"right off to bed", said Fruit amid yawn.
Both the carrot for Rudolph and the mince pie now scoffed,
down goes the whiskey that 'Santa' has quaffed'.
A peek through the door confirms they're still asleep,
so off to my bed now on tip toe I creep.
