Well shock me with a revelation. The SV lives once again. A new reg/rec and it starts first push of the button. However, I can confirm the clocks have expired.

There is no internal fuse to protect the circuits. It's dead as the bike has been for the past few months. I have also lost all electrics to the indicators and the rear light. Still working on that one. I can see a Halfords push bike speedo going on again until such times as I can afford a replacement. I have front lights though.

. Forgot to check the horn.

Was a very sweet feeling giving the throttle a few blips letting the neighbourhood know what to expect. I almost forgot just how loud it is.
