2004 / 04 Suzuki SV 650 Championship Winning Minitwin Race Bike / Track Bike V5 . Supertwin ?
Spec of the bike is :
Maxton fully adjustabe rear shock new for start of 2011 season, Steve Jordan front end ( Racetec emulators and 0.9 linear K-Tech springs )
Full Hindle exhaust system, BMC air filter, power commander 3 with custom map 70bhp, Valve clearences checked twice throughout season,
Lightweight rear subframe with honda fireblade tail piece, lightweight front fairing bracket with a WR250 front plastic board, DRZ catch belly pan,
520 chain conversion with Tsubaki race chain (£85) and renthal sprockets which have all only done 3 races so in excellent condition,
Front and rear goodridge braided brake lines, Venhill QA throttle, short pazzo style levers, lockstops, battery relocation,
Pirelli diablo supercorsa tyres fitted SC1/SC2 which have done 5 races so plenty life left in them, lightweight race loom with keyless ignition,
Wet and dry rear wheel has captive spacers for easy wheel change, caliper holder bracket fitted to keep caliper in place when changing,
R&G crash bobbins, Shark fin, paddock stand bobbins, race supplies direct rearsets, renthal kevlar grips, stomp grips,
New radiator fitted before last meeting so only 2 races old, ( with overflow bottle ) blue silicone radiator / cooling hoses, quick release fuel cap,
Dry front wheel had brand new EBC X Series discs fitted 4 meetings ago costing £270. Running brembo race pads with Dot5 fluid so great stopping power.
Spares include, brand new front lightweight fairing bracket to take original SV top fairing / 675 / GSXR top fairings,
Repaired one for similar use, levers, rearsets, tank, mtc end can, sprocket carrier, twisted rad with no leaks,
Used front brake pads, brake hoses, clip ones, discs, sidestand, chain, various size sprockets etc.
Wets come with excellent condition tyres, Bridgestone block rear and pirelli front, both only 1 wet wet race old.
The bike has had oil change after every outing this year, then oil filter every other meeting along with bleeding brakes (dot5 fluid)
I have completed 7 meetings this year and the bike has never missed a beat, no mechanical failures,
1 DNF which was a crash in the wet, since then bike has been back out and runs fine.
Bike is lockwired and ready to race as it is as a minitwin, or its a great starting bike to build up into a supertwin.
The bike is by no means the smartest bike out there but it is mechanically sound and runs fine.
Had a fair few top 3 finishes and won the Derby Phoenix Mini Thunderbike championship.
Passes sound testing at 101 - 102 db with no baffle..
Also has V5 present in my name so could be taxed / daytime mot'd.
