Look for pitting on pistons. Any leaks around seals. If seals are good keep them as aftermarket can sometimes stick / cause problems. Make sure you put the seals back in the right way round too when you reassemble othersiwe they'll stick. As mentioned you may need new slider pins etc. You'll want red rubber grease and copper grease. If you're cleaning out the inside of the calipers then metal dental picks can be useful for getting into crevices and scraping the crud out.
