Google for "Catpoopman", vey helpful site there. Rejetting sounds scary but it's really not that bad- though you might find the screws on the carbs to be bad tempered.

Where do you find it not running well? Idle, midrange, high midrange, wide open throttle? Because if it's not bad- particularily if it's only problematic up top which I'd suspect- then you could fix it yourself pretty easily. It's only when you get into mucking about with the needles, mix screws etc that it gets a bit fiddly.
