Default Re: Vintage film cameras

Trying to familiarise myself with the OM10 and finished the B&W film. Don't know what the results will be like as it's a long time, 1986 if I recall correctly, since I used monochrome. Used the Vivitar series 1 28-105 for everything. It's not too heavy and it was bright so I could keep shutter speeds fairly high.
A couple of annoying little foibles with the Olympus. The film speed ring is really finicky and hard to get to for ev adjustment. When changing it, I knocked the mode switch on to 'B' and it took me a couple of shots to work out why the shutter was misbehaving. The display light kept going out too, despite my frantic tapping of the shutter (Only after getting home and reading the manual did I discover I'd been tapping the wrong button. )
On the plus side, dead simple apart from that and the shutter speeds in the viewfinder are in nice big numbers and really clear.
