Huh, only noticed the black window now you've mentioned it.
Not sure how or why! It wasn't deliberate. It's my first time using Windows Movie Maker & YouTube upload so I'm guessing its one of those. I'll see if I can change it next time.
Edit - I've just checked, going to the main YouTube website it has the box, but using the YouTube app it's full screen. I don't understand technology
