Default Re: help with oxford tailpack

Got one free with "Ride" subscription - it definitely comes with the bottom section Geodude's talking about. If yours didn't, you should probably take it back.

The only problem I have is having to take the pillion seat off to put the velcro strap round. If the alarm is in maintenance mode, it goes off when I try to put the seat back on. Not sure why. After the third time I'd deafened myself I sussed out it was easier to disarm the alarm, undo the seat lock and take the pillion seat out, then put the keys in the ignition and turn it straight on before the alarm arms itself again. The seat goes back in place with the Oxford strapped down with no trouble at all that way. Do up the four corner-bungees, then I normally put a couple of bungees either right across the top, or at least attached to the top (depending on how full it is), to stop it swaying in quick corners.
