Good buy on the Zenith. A fiver for a working EM and a Helios for the price of a London pint is an excellent deal.
Somehow, the Minolta XE 1 seems to be working. I tried to clean it up, put new batteries in and following Rupert Brooke's advice, moved it into the sun. Maybe the capacitors needed a recharge but the shutter sounds like it's working properly at different speeds now. I'll put a film in and try it out. EEK! Down to my last 3 Poundland Vistas. Looks like it's Fujicolour or Kodak colourplus from now on.
Went for a walk at the weekend and shot a few more on the Electro 35. It still leaves me emotionless though.
