Out for a ride today, on a country road with a 60MPH limit, went round a
right hander at around 70MPH and saw in the distance a policeman with
a speed gun, located just before a 30MPH limit
As I passed, after slowing to 30MPH, the policeman stepped out into the
road behind me, I assume to get my plate No.
I am right in hoping that they normaly stop you there and then, incase
anything is amiss.
Or do they now send you a fine in the post?
Or might they send me a letter advising me to keep within the limit?
