the BBC. i pay a tv licence so that should qualify me for logging into BBC online stuff like iplayer. why do i need to give them my life story when i have a licence which has a number. why cant they make it fairer and only let people who pay a licence fee watch BBC online services. now that the BBC are rolled out digitally then it would be easy enough to use the same licence number to be able to watch terrestrial BBC. no licence then no BBC on your telly.

yes i know my licence is only for the privilege to have a tv that receives signals and digital content (as such) but the BBC are funded from the revenue.

the tv licence is a stealth tax, nothing more nothing less. what do they actually do with the rest of the revenue that they dont give to the BBC?
