I used alraldite.

Remove the front mudguard and hold the fender extender in place and draw round the end of the fender extender with a marker pen to give you an area to abrade.

A quick rub with some emery cloth in this area to give a key. A few blobs of Alaldite and hold the fender extender in place overnight with 3 G clamps (One on the middle and one on each side)

It has held for over 12000 miles to date without nasty holes etc.
