Sorry to hear of your shoulder woes but you lost me as soon as you started talking about phone mounts...
Phones should be tucked away and switched off when riding/driving imo.
(and don't get me started on satnav and infotainment in cars)
Hope you get mended soon and back on the bike while there's still some decent weather.
