Thing is, when you start noticing an issue with the prism it's too late and the damage is done. It would need preventative maintenance to sort. The project is a Voigtlander Bessa 1, I've had the rear element out already and thankfully someone has attempted to fix the shutter with oil which means the rust is sitting on a skim of oil and wiped right off. The blades 3rd are a different matter...
