Cold wet day here so a good opportunity to stay home and cook.
This is my ragu sauce. Good beef, carrots, mushrooms, onions, garlic, herbs, lots of really high quality tomatoes, beef stock, red wine, sugar, Worcester sauce and my secret ingredient, tamarind paste. It takes 4 hours to cook, then you have to leave it overnight to rest. I'll turn some into lasagne made with mascarpone cheese and parmesan, the white sauce made from scratch, no jars of ready made stuff full of palm oil in my house.
I've also made dough for the garlic bread, it rises very slowly in the fridge overnight and that will make pizza bases too [emoji3]
