Default Re: Accessory Distribution Gizmo Group Buy

ok there seems to be a little confusion about how this thing plugs in but it was explained in post 11 and 76 (with picture) so to make it clear it plugs into:

the rear brake light switch and the battery + & - terminals.

how it works:
once connected the relay is fed with a live feed via the + on the battery and the relay coil is fed a live feed from the rear brake light switch. the negative is connected to the battery which supplies the return path for the relay coil and the outlets for the accessory's.

when you turn your bike ignition on it feeds a live to the relay coil and because there is a return path to the negitive of the battery it pulls the switch over to feed power to the fused outlets which is fed from the battery positive. when you turn the bike off it cuts power to the coil which in turn cuts power to the fused outlets.

for those that now don't want the gizmo as they thought it plugged into the rear tail light cluster then i will give a full refund if already paid. if you haven't paid then just PM me and i will remove your name from the list
