So had a nice bit of glass impale my front tyre this morning.
AA man just fitted an external mushroom plug, refilled it with air, and said get it fixed within 100 miles. (he suggested i get one of these for underseat:

What are your experiences with these plug kits? i just rode home and took the car/bus(urgh..), as not 100% on external fit puncture repairs...
Annoyingly the winter bike is still out of commission unless parts turn up today (not holding out hope there...)
